Pool Closing service in Gainesville, Georgia

To qualify for closing service, please make sure:
• Your pool already has an elephant cover and anchors installed (we handle the anchoring)
• Your pool is under 26,000 gallons
• It’s a residential pool (we don’t service commercial pools)
• Water is drained below the skimmers before our team arrives

For best results, your water should be clear at closing. Closing a green or cloudy pool traps algae and debris under the cover all winter. If your water needs help first, ask us about a clean-up visit before your closing date.

Between late September and mid-October, before the first hard freeze. Our closing season runs September 21 to October 12. Closing too early, while the water is still warm, invites algae. Closing too late risks freeze damage to your lines and equipment.

It protects the skimmer and plumbing from freeze damage and lets us blow out and plug the lines properly. Please have the water level below the skimmers before our team arrives.

We can still close the pool, but we don’t recommend it. Whatever is in the water in October is what you’ll open to in spring, only worse. Ask us about a balancing and clean-up visit before your closing date.
